Debbie Duggar – Certified Professional Photographer (CPP)

Born and raised in Oklahoma. I grew up in Lawton and now live in Duncan. After a 37 year career as a civil servant, I have retired and am now a full time photographer.

I grew up watching my father take many photos during family get-togethers and on vacations. He loved to take photographs so I come by it naturally. I have always taken photos of family, but in 2010 started finding beauty in photographing the small details of unique items and places. This began my journey in photography. After a few years taking images of things and places I started to learn the craft of portraiture. Shortly after starting that learning process I began what I like to call my journey to become a Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The criteria was very intense, but I learned a lot during my eleven month road to certification. I became certified as of 16 July 2015.

I use photography in many ways. I take images that can be used as fine art to decorate your home or office. I also take portraits of individuals and families to record the time of their lives. I run a photo booth which expresses a fun way to capture images at events. And I document occasions for clients at events in their lives.

Most of my fine art images are taken around Oklahoma of small towns and the unique and quirky items found there. My images call attention to things that other people may overlook. There is beauty in the smallest details.

I am a member of the Chisholm Trail Arts Council (CTAC), the Lawton Wichita Wildlight Photographic Society (WWPS), the Professional Photographers of Oklahoma (PPOK), and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). My photography business is Debbie Duggar Visuals, 813 West Walnut, Suite 102, Duncan. Webpage:  http://ddvisuals.com. Facebook: http://facebook.com/ddvisuals. Email: ddvisualsphotos@gmail.com. Text/Cell: 580-467-8736.
